From the first few words of the Scriptures we gain a glimpse of eternal glory. Like a sparkling gem that has been polished and shined, the book of Genesis is a book of beginnings. Isaiah 64:4 says that “since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.” Genesis is more than just an Old Testament book to be forgotten. Genesis is not a myth or a parable. Genesis holds major truth for us to discover and apply. From the very start of creation, great things have been prepared for people of faith.
