Ever think about Heaven?

Ever think about life and death or heaven?

Well, when we die our body goes to the ground. Genesis 3:19 shows that we are dust and to the dirt we must return. However, we aren’t just mud pies! We are spiritual beings and at death our spirit returns to be with God. 1 Corinthians 2:9, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” According to this, Heaven is better than your wildest dreams! In the afterlife we will be occupied with living and enjoying life without sin. We will be with loved ones, be at peace, and have fun.

Heaven is a place of:

• Beauty, Revelation 21:10-11

• Immortality, Revelation 21:4

• Light, Revelation 21:23

• Perfection, 1 John 3:2

• Joy, Revelation 19:6-8

The Rabbis of Judaism have said, “This world is like a lobby before Heaven. Prepare yourself in the lobby so you may enter the banquet hall.” The world is how we prepare for the glory of eternity. How often do you think of your eternal home? “Set your mind on things above, not on things that are of the earth,” Colossians 3:2.
