Many people thing God can do anything.  Well that’s not true.  There are many things that God simply can’t do and knowing these 7 items can have an impact on your life.

#1

Nothing means nothing. And there’s nothing that can separate you from the love of Messiah. He just can’t stop loving you. He won’t stop loving you.  There’s no sin too big and no thought too wrong that can block his love.  He will never leave you.  Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid, he is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

“Can anything ever separate us from Messiah’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?” Romans 8:35.

#2

You know how easy it is to stretch the truth to make things sound better or worse?  God doesn’t do that one bit. It is impossible for Him to lie. What He has said is absolute truth and will come to pass. Everything He has promised is for certain.  Trust him to come through for you.  His word is His guarantee.

“God is not a man, that He should lie,” Numbers 23:19.

#3

One thing that makes the Lord the only real supreme God is that He is all knowing.  He can’t learn anything new.  This might not seem like a big deal, but it really is huge.  It’s because he is all knowing, that nothing catches him by surprise.  Your mistakes aren’t anything new to Him. The latest ploy or plot by the enemy doesn’t upset him.  The Lord also can’t change.  He knows how bad you’ve messed up and He loves you anyway. He doesn’t change, nor does His requirements of man. From the beginning mankind has been expected to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with the Lord.  He knows if you’re playing religious games or if you’re sincerely seeking Him.

“I am the LORD, and I do not change,” Malachi 3:6.

#4

God doesn’t get tired or even frustrated. He that watches over you neither slumbers or sleeps. He’s always watching you as the apple of his eye.  The next time you think you’re bothering Him or keeping Him up just think again. He’s more patient than you can ever imagine.

“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary,”
Isaiah 40:28.

Children aren’t forced to love their parents. Love is simply the byproduct of a healthy family. You were fearfully and wonderfully made, but the Lord can’t and won’t make you love Him.  He trusts that love will flow His way as you recognize Him as your heavenly Father. You’re not a robot being programmed or forced to do anything.  Love of God is a voluntary choice. It’s the greatest choice you will ever make.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me,” Revelation 3:20.

#6

Jeremiah 32:17 makes another point clear.  It says that there’s nothing that can stump the Lord.  That impossible mathematical equation is nothing for Him. And whatever that seems too big for you is really really small for Him.  Remember that God stands outside of time.  He knows the end from the beginning.  That person or problem that’s stressing you didn’t even appear on his radar of concern. The Lord knows how everything’s going to work out. Relax!

“O Sovereign Master! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!” Jeremiah 32:17.

God can’t move in this world without people acting in faith. This one idea messes people up. Many think that God can just do anything but He can’t.  We limit Him.  Or we help Him. In the city of Nazareth the Messiah was not able to do many miracles because of the people’s unbelief. And Psalm 78 says the nation of of Israel “limited” the Lord by their disobedience. The Almighty wants to move in this world. He needs vessels to use. He needs us to be fit for His power. You make His will come to pass. Believe. Obey. Trust. Follow.

Psalm 78:41, “they turned back and limited the Holy One of Israel.”
